Keep Calm & Carry On with Confidence
New class starts 9/12!
Sundays, 9/12 - 10/10; 1:00 - 2:00pm
$260 for 5 weeks

Does your dog bark, lunge, freeze or cower around dogs, people or new situations?
​
You and your dog will learn:
​
  • reliable ways to change explosive or fearful reactions to things that make him anxious or uncomfortable
  • how to "decode" each other's body language and behavior to prevent incidents before they occur
  • activities to practice being calm and safe near people, dogs and other triggers
  • games to help your dog "expect the unexpected" and be confident in new situations
​
NOTE: THIS CLASS IS FOR REACTIVE AND FEARFUL DOGS.

  • Teach your dog what to focus on -- and what NOT to focus on

  • Show you reliable solutions to get (and keep!) your dog's attention around all those distractions

  • Help you reign in your dog's energy when out & about without reigning in the fun (yes, that includes "polite walking")

  • Channel your dog's exuberance as you head into Fall!

  • SIZE:  Class sizes are small so dogs can feel comfortable, go at their own pace and have a positive experience. 

  • LENGTH:  Session times are a little longer than traditional training classes so clients and dogs have time to enter and exit comfortably, learn skills, play games to practice what they've learned and engage in calming routines.

  • ROOM SETUP: Safety and the dogs' comfort levels are priorities. Some dogs may need their own enclosed space that includes a curtain to block the view of other dogs and people. As they become more comfortable, the curtain may gradually be opened. **

  • REGISTRATION: Pre-registration and payment are required prior to the start of class. Fees are non-refundable.
